Kelly Ebeling| Founder, Board Chair

Kelly is a visual arts instructor and arts education programmer and educator who develops classes, workshops and camps for all ages, abilities and cultures. She founded the original Sonoma Art School in (SAS) in 2002. From 2017 to 2024, she was the Director of Art Education for the Healdsburg Center for the Arts. In 2024, Kelly incorporated SAS as a non-profit 501(c)(3), with the mission of making arts education accessible to all. Through SAS, she has developed extensive year-long programing, including summer camps, after-school classes, weekend workshops, and a robust scholarship program.

Darcie Lamond |

Darcie Lamond’s 32-year career experience spans finance, B2B software, creative agency, and non-profits. 

Most recently, she served as the Director of Brand and Content for a successful fintech startup that was acquired in 2024. As a banker, she built a Top Ten derivatives trading and marketing business. She founded a micro-finance 501 (c) (3) and secured $1.2 MM seed capital via a grant from the Clinton Global Initiative. In her role as Partner at an LA-based creative agency, she defined and built brand strategies for dozens of companies.   

Darcie raised her two sons in Healdsburg and now gets to play with her toddler grandson regularly.

David Howard | Treasurer

David Howard has over 25 years experience as a Marketing and Account Director in the corporate, online agency and start-up worlds. Included in his portfolio are Sun Microsystems, Sun User Group, Hewlett Packard, Clear Inc., Boldium Digital Marketing, and Rifftime Music As a 25 year resident of Healdsburg, he has worked with a number of non-profit arts organizations including Healdsburg Jazz Festival, Healdsburg Center for the Arts, and Sonoma Art School. David is a performing Jazz and Brazilian music guitarist, as well as the owner/operator of Howling Wine tours based in Healdsburg.

Bob Casagrande | Secretary

Robert Casagrande brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to Sonoma Art School. A professional photographer with a Bachelor’s in Commercial Photography from RIT, his work has been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Glamour. He also authored Better Black and White Darkroom Techniques.

In his engineering career, Robert held senior roles, including Vice President of Aviation Engineering at Mead & Hunt, managing large-scale airport projects across the Southwest.
