A Community Sculpture Celebrating Reading & Art

Sonoma Art School is launching The Books We Love, a public art installation inspired by beloved children’s books.

The sculpture will feature oversized, artist-designed books chosen by the community, celebrating literacy and creativity.

Why It Matters

Books inspire imagination and understanding. The Books We Love will:

● Celebrate children’s literature

● Promote literacy and arts education

● Engage artists, students, and families

● Create a lasting public artwork

A Community-Created Project

Artists, students, and community members will design and paint the sculptural books.
