After-School Mixed Media Magic & Ceramics

Mixed Media Magic: Ages 6-9
Tuesdays, Sept 2 - Oct 7
Students experiment with traditional and upcycled materials—charcoal, wire, clay, cardboard, and more—to create both 2-D and 3-D artworks. The class blends project-based and open-choice approaches, offering guided demos alongside freeform tables stocked with varied supplies. Both methods help students build skills, confidence, and creative problem-solving abilities
Ceramics: Ages 8-15
Wednesdays, Sept 3 - Oct 8
Clay offers endless possibilities for students of all levels. Learn to throw pottery on the wheel and create functional pieces like cups, bowls, vases, and plates.
Students also explore foundational techniques in pinch, coil, and slab methods to shape embossed tiles, plaques, pinch and coil pots, figurines, and whimsical dwellings such as fairy houses.
