Eco-Friendly Halloween and Dia de los Muertos Arts and Crafts Workshops

Drop-in for a morning full of spooky and festive fun as we create our own eco-friendly decorations out of standard recyclables from around the house and nature. All materials are included. We will have multiple “Creation Stations” where student will decorate their own sugar skull masks, egg carton bat mobiles, painted mini pumpkins, cardboard haunted houses, mason jar mummy luminaries, recycled fabric ghosts, etc. We will take breaks, as desired, in the shady school yard.

Children for these workshops must be accompanied by an adult or teen guardian. Guardians will be encouraged to help with the projects as needed.

Location: Healdsburg Community Nursery School

Dates: Saturday Oct. 26th

Times: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Ages 3 – 6

Drop-in for an afternoon full of spooky and festive fun as we create our own eco-friendly decorationsout of standard recyclables from around the house and nature. All materials are included. We will have multiple “Creation Stations” where students will decorate their own spin art skulls masks, ghoul in a bottle, decorated Kasuma pumpkins, mixed media spooky scrolls, etc. We will take breaks, as desired, in the courtyard and playground.

Children for these workshops can be dropped off or accompanied (optional) by an adult or teen guardian. We will have a few volunteer assistants, as well. Guardians will be encouraged to help with projects as needed.
