SCHOLARSHIPS

Sonoma Art School’s scholarship program gives Sonoma County community members access to free or reduced-rate art classes.

Eligibility

  • All youth are eligible for need-based scholarships, regardless of income.

  • Priority is given to first-time applicants and Sonoma County residents.

  • Youth (ages 2.5 - 17) may receive 1 scholarship per quarter, up to 4 times a year.

Scholarships Cover

  • Scholarships cover Registration Fees, Materials Fees; and

  • Can be applied to all Youth Classes, Camps and Workshops

How to Apply

  • Review Class listings and select the class you would like to apply for a scholarship.

  • Complete the short Application Form (available in English & Spanish).

Review Process

  • Applications are reviewed by our Director to ensure that all required information has been submitted. If additional information is needed, applicants will be contacted directly. Please allow 5–10 business days for a response via email.

  • Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and are evaluated individually. Priority is given to Sonoma County residents and first-time applicants.

  • All applicants will be notified of their application status by email within 5-10 business days of submitting a complete application. Applicants awarded a scholarship will receive a confirmation email and must respond by email or phone within 3 business days to proceed with the registration process. Applicants who are not awarded a scholarship will also receive notification by email.
